I made a very simple cam using camtrace. When i try execing cam.cfg ingame i get this http://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot0000y r5.jpg
And when i exec cam1000 it locates camera @ 4000 500 100 in example instead of -4000 500 100. So i deleted the space between - and 4000 in all cfgs (cam1000 - cam1004), execed cam1000 and i got the cam working. So there are two things i need help with, to get cam cfg working (i checked pk0.pk3 and i do have models needed, head.md3 is in it, i even reinstalled et and patched it correctly and i still have the problem) and find out if theres a way to fix camtrace putting space between - and numbers. I made cam using 2.60+ etpro3-2-5 and 2.60b+ etpro3-2-6, i get the same thing.
Sorry if theres a topic about this but looking at the titles i didn't notice anything that looks related to this...

Ok, i still get the error with cam1.cfg but it works. I still have to manually delete spaces between numbers and -, noone else has this problem?

hello,
yeah this head.md3 error always appears and i don't know what it is.
But, apparently, it's not a problem to record frame or to make cam.
It seems that this msg appears because of the /developer 1, that's needed to exceed the <90° fov limit.
For the space between '-' and numbers, never saw that.
Can u paste a camX.cfg line sample here ?

wait;cg_fov 90.07;timescale 0.50;wait;freecamsetpos - 3931.70 2073.10 20.67 0.00 - 62.39 0.00;
All the lines have space between -, i saw screenshots in user manual, no spaces there, now look at my program ss - http://img172.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tc3duw6.j pg
I tryed manually deleting space in program, but it changes it back as soon as i press enter or select another cell

just check :
Control Panel -> Regional & language options -> Regional Options -> Customize -> check the 'Negative sign symbol' value ...

that md3 bug is pretty easy: you can turn that message off by just set developer to 0! that shouldnt change anything at the cam.
But the main reason for that is (not 100% sure) that u just cant display that many frames per second like you want to display!
@ cl_avidemo the error should go away.
